Day #8: Moving

So day 8 found me wondering back from lunch grabbing pictures of whatever caught my eye. Naturally there are plenty of cars zooming around, so I thought I'd take a couple of shots to see If I could capture the motion around me. Here's my favorite of the bunch.

Day #7: More of the Lost

So I like to see things being reclaimed by nature. I decided to walk up to the old family barn to see what kind of goodies could be had. Although the barn has just about collapsed on itself, I still managed to take a few pictures I liked.

Day #6b: Watching over Walter B Bird

On the same day as our abandoned shed discovery, we noticed a sign for a Church that was established in 1827. Old churches often mean old graveyards, so we hung a quick left and found the little church with a small open field beside it. As I was walking around looking at the tombstones, I noticed theses small purple flowers popping up all over the grounds. I felt like the little flowers were keeping the tombstone and grave markers company. The tombstone directly behind these flowers is the marker for Walter B.

Day #6: Abandoned

So Nan and I went for another adventure ride over the local dirt roads, and as we were riding along I noticed a glint of sunlight in the trees. I hit the brakes, and threw it in reverse. Nan thought I was a little crazy, but I pulled over to the edge and hopped out of the car to see what was there. It ended up being an old abandoned shed. It was pretty much falling in on itself, but it was fun to take a few pictures of it be for nature finally completely claimed it.

Day #5: From the bottom up

So this is one I thought was interesting. It's a parking deck disquised as a building. I look up at the buildings all the time. but I don't usually look straight up. I thought it gave an interesting perspective to something I see everyday.

Day #4: One last fish

So I had a good time snapping pictures yesterday. I got several shots that I really loved, and I had a hard time picking one to post. I'll probably put the others up in a separate post, but here's my one for the day.

Day #3: Some Glass

While I was picking the kids up at my mother-in-law's, I notices she had lined her bar with these class bottles. I thought it was a bit intriguing, so I took a quick photo.
